School Relaunch Staff Engagement

Dear FSD Team,

Thank you for your efforts in creating safe, welcoming, and caring return to school. We understand how challenging these first few weeks have been and we commend you on your hard work and adaptability. This is truly a unique year, one that has required our entire team to rethink and redevelop how we support our students. Well done!

Together we continue to navigate school relaunch. Due to a successful start, we believe that it is now possible to begin planning for a safe return for other activities, including: sports, band, musical theatre, music, and outdoor events. This will be challenging. The Guidance we receive from the provincial government continues to evolve, however we are confident that we can find a solution to re-establishing these activities in a safe manner in the coming weeks and months.

We are asking for your help in designing these solutions. Visit the discussion forum to collaborate digitally with your colleagues on these topics.

There are still many questions on how we can implement the following provincial guidance documents. We look forward to working together with our staff team to create exciting new opportunities for students in the near future.

We know that our staff team has some innovative and creative ideas. An opportunity to submit ideas and provide suggestions will be made available in the coming days and weeks. All thoughts will be reviewed by the COVID-19 Steering Committee and the COVID-19 Relaunch Committee. We'll be sure to notify you when this opportunity opens for staff involvement!

2) Who's Listening - contains the contact information of who is reading and answering your questions.

3) Lifecycle - contains an outline of the engagement and indicates where we are in the process

4) Q&A - contains questions and answers along with an opportunity to submit your own questions. When asking a question you will be prompted to enter a name and email, this will allow you to receive a notification when your question has been answered.
