Spitzee - Students’ Matters Engagement

We need more outside time and shorter weeks or longer weekends. We need time to play with all of our friends and family; having zones make this hard. We would like to see outdoor classes too.

In school in grades 4+ we should learn more about minority's such as BLM, LGBTQ + and people of color in my opinion its a very important topic

l like history so i want to have more of it in grade 4

Stop- doing all online announcements, sometimes switch it up and do it on the microphone (some kids do not like being on the video)
- having zones at recess so we can start to play with other people

START- have team sports for the younger grades too, not just grade 5
- having all of the kids from all classes and grades all out at the same time so we can see our friends from other grades
- switch up which grades go out together
- having longer music classes
- longer gym time
- longer recess time and both the same amount
- longer library time
- have more access to even more art supplies to do things like clay (have a kiln)
- bringing in artists to work with classes
- wearing hats all the time
- more field trips
- have different teachers go into different classes to teach different things
- have a wood working room so we can build things
- have outside tennis and volleyball nets
- have outdoor learning spaces not with tables but with rocks, tree stumps to sit on and learn
- add parkour
- mark out the fields for soccer and football
- have more mission impossible
- add a second hot lunch day

- having each kid have access to their own computer in each classroom so we can use them when we need to because we don't all learn the same way and having a computer when needed is important

I think it is easier to learn with little breaks in school like recess or gym like athletic parts of the school day so mabey more of that otherwise I like how everything is in the school division.

Learn about more places around the world

In high school learning about how to invest our money.

Have optional things instead of just library, music and art (we should still have those) but have other choices that we can sign up to try different things to see if there are other things we like or are good at.

I think we should learn about more different languages not just French.

teach the kindergartners about all the different countries around the world so that is the kindergartens go to countries they know what to exspect

We should learn about how to saving money and how to plan for getting a house.

I would like lockers for the grade 4-5 students. I would also like to get more exercise and go on more nature walks.

I think we should learn more about money, how to give change and how to manage money because we will need this when we are older.

I would want more PE classes and art.

We should add more gym and more art so the little kids can have a lot of fun And a little more technology thank you.

I think we should learn Spanish

I think kids should be able to have the freedom of whatever they want to be in the future.

I think that teachers should let us listen to music while on computers more often because it helps lots of people focus better and also we should get more time in gym or exercise.
